Department of Environment, Science and Innovation is the Queensland Government department responsible for environmental protection and science. It develops state environmental policies and guidelines, including those influencing stormwater quality objectives under the State Planning Policy (SPP). It also manages environmentally relevant activities (ERAs) and enforces environmental regulations.
